English 102

- English 102 has been my favorite class of the semester, I had taken Professor Candia last semester for English 101 and loved that class as much as this one. I did well under Professor Candia in 101, so I saw it sensible to take her for 102, considering I know what she expects from us. As for 102 my favorite topic was the author analysis, and short stories, thats also why i decided to do my blog in that fashion. I believe that professor Candia is very fair, and that her strict grading on essays will help us in the future when we are looking for a career. I also enjoyed the group activities that we did in his class, it gave us the opportunity to meet new people and learn from them things we didn't see ourselves. One thing I didn't enjoy about this class was the weekly blog assignments, we did them last semester in 101 too; I just didn't see any literary growth from them, and they seemed more like a homework hassle that I had to take time out of my busy day to do last minute. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this class to underclassmen who take their writing craft seriously, and aren't just looking for an easy A.
